The Cocuyo Ocean Wave Generator is a revolutionary machine, that extracts electrical energy from the ocean waves.

INSTALLATIONS:
The generators are installed in the sea, near shore. The bulk of the generator is submerged (6-23 metres), and the short exposed part is blue coloured to match the sea. The generators can either be placed in installations of one, to power small isolated areas, or in massive installations of thousands to power entire cities or industrial complexes.
Installations of generators can easily follow the sea floor and shore line outlines.
Tailored per installation, to work at local low and high tides, accounting for expected maximum local wave heights.
Modifications and expansion of installations is simple due to the modularity of the network.
MAINTENANCE:
For the length of the life of the generator, the only maintenance required is periodic cleaning of bio-foul, to avoid the build up of algae and micro-life in the under-sea structure. There are no corrosion or wear issues, no periodic replacement of parts, and no maintenance required for of any parts of the generator. If one Generator or section fails or is damaged, the remainder stays functional - only localised repairs would be needed.
STORMS AND KING TIDES:
Protected against storms and king tides, with patented engineering solutions incorporated into the generator, and a novel installation network.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT:
All electric and magnetic fields are contained within the generator- no danger of electrocution or electrical harm to the fauna/flora.
Static gaps between Generators allow for fauna to swim through – no tangling issues.
Moving parts are inside the case of the Generator - not accessible from the outside by the sea fauna.
Colour matched to the sea water.
No resultant emission of radiation, gases, odours, sounds, chemicals, light, or debris.
The generators have the beneficial effect of acting as a sea wave beak.
